Check In

  • Please park in the back parking lot by the Curves gym. Please DO NOT park at Los Altos Eyecare OR Allied Auto Works.

  • Use your unique 5-digit door code at the front door to enter the space. The code was emailed to you previously. If you have issues entering the space, please call or text Emily at 609-457-4787.

  • If something is broken or out of place when you arrive, please email hello@thesunlightspace.com with photos immediately.

  • Rentals are by the hour, which means that sometimes, there could be somebody before or after your allotted rental time. In the event that you exceed your booking time, you will be charged for every 5 minutes of overtime.

 

Check Out

  • Please leave the space in the same condition as when you entered.

  • Couches, chairs, tables, and rugs are all movable during your rental. If you move the furniture around, please put it back as you found it. Please do not move our storage cabinets, backdrop holder and water cooler. These must stay in place.

  • If you dispose of any diapers, food, liquids, or other perishables, please take the trash out to the garbage bin labeled "2059" in the trash enclosure, located in the back of the building behind the Curves gym. The key to the trash enclosure is labeled and is hanging on the hook at the front door.

  • If you changed the thermostat, please set it back to 73 degrees. 

  • Turn off all lights.

  • Double check that the door has shut and locked behind you. The door will automatically lock but must be shut all the way to do so. 

 

Booking Policy

  • Please treat all aspects of The Sunlight Space with the utmost respect.

  • Please respect our neighbors. No excessive noise in shared outdoor areas.

  • Your rental time includes setup and teardown. In the event that you exceed your booking time, you will be charged accordingly.

  • No smoking allowed in or around the property.

  • No nudity.

  • Small pets are welcome, but they are not permitted to be on upholstered furniture.

  • If items or furniture are found broken or damaged, a replacement fee may be charged.

  • If a mess is left in the space (spills, confetti, trash, etc.) a cleaning fee of $200 will be charged. Please leave the space like you found it.

  • Please notify us via email immediately at hello@thesunlightspace.com in the event of any damages to the property.

  • If door is found open after the rental is complete, a fee of $100 dollars will be charged.

  • There are two indoor cameras situated in the southeast and northwest corners of the room. They are always on and they records video and audio. Should the cameras be obstructed or unplugged, I reserve the right to end the shoot and/or charge a fine. This also applies to our WiFi router.

    • If you are shooting boudoir or swimwear and your client requests privacy, please notify The Sunlight Space in advance. An additional agreement must be signed to prevent recording.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours after booking confirmation will receive a full refund (excluding fees). This excludes events starting within 48 hours of the booking start time. Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations 30 to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund (excluding fees). Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non refundable.
